Jakarta City Council's Regional Regulation Formation Agency (Bapemperda) held a meeting with the executive to discuss the proposed revision of the 2025 Regional Regulation Formation Program (Propemperda) as well as discussion on the 2026 Propemperda.

Bapemperda Chairman, Abdul Aziz, said the meeting agreed that Bapemperda and Jakarta Provincial Government will complete the discussion of the priority Draft Regional Regulation this year.
"Of the 15 draft regional regulations, three are mandatory and have been completed. Four other draft regulations have also been discussed. So, we have eight remaining draft regulations that we will finalize in the next three months," he said, Wednesday (8/20).

He stated that the regulations drafted should not only meet administrative needs but also provide tangible services to Jakarta residents.
"Our priority is the Regional Regulation about PAM Jaya, which relates to the transition from a regional public company (Perumda) to a regional public company (Perseroda). This is crucial because PAM requires significant funding to replace its deteriorating pipes," he added.
He emphasized that Bapemperda is committed to leaving a good legacy in drafting regional regulations for the Jakarta residents.
"We'll pursue the remaining targets," he stated.
